1. Who this policy concerns
This policy applies to visitors of matbaten.com and people who contact Matbaten about its Paris food-walk and editorial activities. For privacy questions, email [email protected].
2. Information you provide
The enquiry form sends your name, email address and message to our server for email delivery. The configured delivery provider is Resend; received email is handled in our Gmail mailbox. Messages are used to respond to your enquiry. Please do not include payment-card details, identity documents or detailed health information.
The application does not keep a message database. The delivery provider and email mailbox may retain messages and delivery records under their own policies. The host may retain request and security logs.
3. Technical information
Our hosting provider may process limited request data needed to deliver and secure the site, such as an IP address, device or browser information, requested pages, timestamps and security logs. The site remembers your privacy choices for up to 180 days. Google Analytics and Google Ads are optional integrations and remain inactive until configured and until you permit the relevant category. 4. Why information is used
- To answer enquiries and discuss possible services;

Information may be handled by service providers that support email, website hosting or professional administration, only as needed for those functions. Depending on the provider, data may be processed outside your country. Provider terms and transfer arrangements must be reviewed as part of the service setup. Matbaten does not sell personal information.
7. Retention
Enquiry records are kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage a potential or actual service, meet legal or accounting duties, and resolve disputes. Unneeded messages may be deleted periodically.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and may withdraw consent where processing relies on it. You may also complain to a competent data-protection authority. To make a request, use the email above; identity verification may be required.
9. Children
This site is not directed to children and does not knowingly seek personal information from them. A parent or guardian should make any family enquiry.
10. Changes
This policy may be updated when the website, providers or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
